TEKUA

TEKUA is a continuing education school for youth and adults that was founded by Chris Kariz and Ally Mhine in 2006. The school offers computer courses, art classes, language courses in English and teaches basic business skills. It also provides health and sex education with emphasis on family values and HIV prevention. Worldview and TEKUA jointly have established a Girls’ Empowerment Program, which provides continuing education for unwed teenage mothers who are prohibited from completing their education in the government school system. We also sponsor twelve adults, including five teachers from Hope Academy, on scholarship at TEKUA. Worldview also continues to contribute to campus improvements.
