Hope Academy
Hope Academy is a preschool founded and managed by Blair Akilimali Alexander and his wife Esther under the auspices of Hope for Community Development and Consultancy Organization (HOCODECO), a community organization founded by Mr. Blair. The school teaches English, Kiswahili, science and arithmetic to about fifty children. Worldview provides funds for the school’s operating expenses and works with HOCODECO on community development programs, including the development of a women’s co-op called SAWATA, and funding for youth athletic programs.
How You Can Help
If you wish to help Hope Academy, you may make a donation designated for meals for the children ($150 per month) or for school supplies. Donations can be made online or by mail.
